Our Technicians and Technical Operations Managers are ETA Certified Electronics Technicians. Our administrative staff has received the Customer Service Specialist Certification. You gain the benefit of our training, experience and desire to serve your organizations' communications service and solution needs.

Our shops (Knoxville and Alcoa) are open from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. During business hours please call (865) 525-2308. Our Technical Operations Managers, Nolan Hicks and Jeff Smith, are both available at our Knoxville location.

Our On Call Team of Technicians is exclusively available to our 7X24 Maintenance customers for after hours and weekend service and consists of the following:

Central Communications earns National Service Recognition

CC&E was notified in December 2005 that it had earned the distinction of becoming the first MSS in the nation to earn the Certified Service Center designation. According to the Consortium of Certified Service Centers press release, "Central Communications & Electronics, Inc. has met the national requirements to become part of a very select group of consumer products service centers in the United States to be qualified as a Certified Service Center. The CSC rating is the highest level of recognition for technical expertise given by the consumer electronics and major home appliance industry."

Central Communications service history goes back to the founding of our organization in 1955. In 1957, we were appointed as a Motorola™ Service Station and continue in that capacity to date. As a MSS, we are an independent company, authorized by Motorola™ to provide warranty work, installation and repair services for Motorola™ two way radio and paging products.

 

Central Communications is a Charter Member of the USMSS organization, a nationwide association of authorized Motorola™ Service Stations. Through USMSS, accredited MSS's join together to promote collective business development, customer service capabilities and vendor opportunities. USMSS also gives MSS's around the nation a unified voice before the F.C.C. and the U.S. Congress on issues critical to land mobile radio services.
